NAIMA recently released a new version of its popular 3E Plus software, which allows users to calculate the appropriate thickness necessary for any application of pipe or mechanical insulation.
NAIMA’s 3EPlus® software has been updated to an online platform at 3EPlus.org. Users can calculate energy, emissions, and economic calculations from adding insulation to pipe and mechanical systems. The new 3EPlus is based on the previous desktop version and built on ASTM Standard C680 to deliver consistent estimated heat loss/gain calculations.
New features include:
- NAIMA member products are built-in to the software and kept up to date.
- Insulation thickness tables of a range of pipe sizes and process temperatures that previously required hundreds of runs can now be rapidly created.
- 3EPlus® is now usable on all devices (not just PCs).
- Custom insulation products can be shared with team members to improve consistency and better maintain your product library.
